Demos, Rides, & Driving

Our ride and drive programs are here!

Guests will be able to ride in some of these iconic machines, and for the adventurous, there will even be opportunities to take the wheel and drive them. This new offering will provide a unique, exhilarating way to connect with history, offering an unforgettable experience that deepens understanding and appreciation for the remarkable vehicles that shaped military history.

Note: General Admission is not included in the ride or drive prices. You will be required to purchase admission upon arrival to the museum.

Vehicle Ride and Drive will run from October 1- May 31 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There will be limited opportunities during the summer months for Vehicle Rides and Drives. Check out our Events page for summer opportunities! 

Ride

Passengers will ride along in the back of the vehicle as they enjoy sights of cactus and beautiful mountain views!

  • Choose from the following vehicles (availability may change daily).
    • DUKW (Duck)
    • 2 1/2 Ton Truck (Deuce and a half)
    • HMMWV (Humvee)

Drive

Get behind the wheel and drive through the beautiful desert landscape in one of the museum’s military vehicles

  • 30 minute experience includes instructional time and up to 20 minutes of drive time
  • Available vehicles (vehicle availability may change daily): Humvee, Land Rover
